Mona Klein is a Los Angeles movie director working on her comeback movie, Forever April. She is very hard on her cast, criticizing Joe when he is late, and telling him "get your act together or ya gonna see my dark side" and he replies
"it gets darker?" ("And... Action!"). However, she is willing to adjust her work ethics in order to get the best out of her cast. Kevin admires her work, and wants to learn from her. She rarely calls people by their real names, for example, referring to Stella as "blondie".
